Ordering and delivery
How do I place an order?
Browse our selection and, if you're interested, click on a product to learn more or add it directly to your shopping cart. Once you've selected all the items you want, review your selections in your shopping cart and then proceed to checkout. There you can decide whether you want to log in, continue as a guest, or create a new account. Then enter your shipping and billing address and your preferred payment method. Carefully review all details and confirm your order. A confirmation page will appear, and you'll receive an email with all your order details.
What delivery options do you offer?
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
It usually takes one business day for your order to arrive (if payment is received by 11:00 am Monday to Thursday or 10:00 am on Friday).
Can I choose the shipping time myself?
Yes, you can. During the ordering process, you have the option to select a preferred delivery date.
What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery?
Please choose a time for your order so that you can be at the desired delivery address and receive your package in person. This is necessary for express deliveries.
How is the cold chain maintained?
The steaks and meat products are hermetically sealed to retain their aroma, placed in Styrofoam boxes with ice packs or dry ice, and packed in a sturdy outer carton. This guarantees that your goods arrive fresh and without any loss of quality.

Where does "Buy Your Steak" get its meat from?
All our slaughter animals come from farmers we know from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg and Lower Saxony .
How is the meat stored and shipped?
All meat products are freshly cut after ordering, safely packaged in a chilled state, and shipped promptly. This preserves all the valuable ingredients and allows you to enjoy the full flavor.
Our frozen meat is also always processed fresh. Immediately after cutting, it is vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at -30°C. Unlike slower freezing, this method results in minimal ice crystals forming in the meat's structure. This minimizes disruption to cell walls and membranes, allowing nutrients and vitamins to be locked in and preserved when the meat is later thawed.
This means that we can achieve the same high guarantee meat quality as with our fresh meat products.
What quality standards apply to your products?
Healthy housing and pasture conditions, species-appropriate animal feeding, and extremely short transport routes guarantee the premium quality and freshness of our meat. Furthermore, we personally know all the farms from which we source our cows and maintain close contact with them.
What distinguishes organic meat?
What quality characteristics does organic meat have?
Organic meat is subject to strict legal requirements, which are regularly audited by the farmers' association or state-recognized organic control bodies. The most important quality criteria include:
- Animals are given more space, exercise, and opportunities for entertainment. The housing is geared toward the well-being of the animals.
- The animals are fed predominantly with organic feed – mostly from our own crops or from certified organic farms.
- Genetically modified feed is prohibited.
- Medication may only be administered in cases of illness and under strict conditions.
- Every step from the farm to the store counter is traceable and documented.
Who monitors compliance with these standards?
Compliance with organic standards is regularly audited in Germany by state-recognized inspection bodies. Our organic meat is inspected by the organic inspection body DE-ÖKO-003 . This body checks, among other things, feed sources, husbandry conditions, and documentation.
Why is it worth buying organic meat?
By purchasing organic meat, you not only support sustainable agriculture and animal welfare, but also receive high-quality and controlled food – free from unnecessary additives and residues.
How long do the products last?
We guarantee the perfect condition of the product until the best-before date indicated on the packaging has been reached. However, this does not mean that the meat is automatically spoiled after this date. Fresh meat should be kept refrigerated at all times and "warmed up" at room temperature without the packaging for approximately one hour before preparation.
Generally speaking, higher temperatures and larger temperature fluctuations shorten the shelf life. If you don't want to use the meat right away, you can also freeze it. We recommend freezing the product directly in its vacuum-sealed packaging.
Payment and prices
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can choose from a variety of payment methods. We accept PayPal, credit card, prepayment, Apple and Google Play, and Shop Pay. Simply select the option that's most convenient for you during the ordering process.
Can I also order on account?
Unfortunately, we don't currently offer invoice payments. However, we do have several other payment methods available for you to choose from. We hope for your understanding.
Are there volume discounts or promotions?
We regularly have great discounts and promotions for you, which we advertise directly on our website, social media, and our newsletter. So be sure to check back regularly.
We also offer attractive conditions for all sales customers with larger purchase quantities.
Returns and complaints
Can I cancel or change my order?
Since your order is usually processed and shipped by us on the same day, subsequent changes or cancellations are unfortunately not possible.
What do I do if the meat doesn't arrive fresh?
We place the highest value on the absolute freshness and quality of our products, which is why we only ship your order to you via express delivery. Should your ordered products ever be defective, please contact our customer service.
Please note that some of our products are shipped frozen and others are only shipped refrigerated.
How can I complain about an item?
Please contact our customer service team by email with clear photos of the product you are complaining about. We will then process your request as quickly as possible.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
We don't offer a money-back guarantee in the traditional sense. However, happy customers are important to us! If you're not completely satisfied with your order, please feel free to contact our customer service, and we'll be sure to find a suitable solution.
Sustainability and ethics
What is "Kauf Dein Steak"'s stance on animal welfare?
We attach great importance to ensuring that the cows are well cared for and fed, and that transport and slaughter are as short and stress-free as possible.
How do you handle the issue of sustainability?
We've been looking for a sustainable solution for our Styrofoam boxes for some time now. However, due to our high shipping requirements, we haven't found an ideal solution yet. However, we will definitely continue searching and try to make a small contribution to greater sustainability in many other areas as well.

During the ordering process, you have the option of specifying a shipping address that differs from your billing address. This allows you to send your order as a gift.
